On the river
A blue bench by the water
Wander through Pelican Harbour, past the shops, and the river opens up in front of you: the old jetty, the fishing boats and the long Carinus bridge across the water. That’s where you’ll find us. White walls, blue doors and a row of blue benches in the sun.
Come early for breakfast, stay for hake and calamari, and see out the afternoon in the pub with the flags overhead.

On our wall
Morning mist and flower season, mussels and fat galjoen. The bokkoms hang on a string, and here we let the reels sing. Time stands still here. That’s where we live!
The poem on the chalkboard by the door says it better than we could.

Flags from all over the world hang from the ceiling, the sport is on, and there’s a fire going when the West Coast wind turns cold. Pull up a bench, order a CBC and settle in.

We’re opposite the Riviera Hotel, at the Berg River end of Pelican Harbour. Park at the harbour and walk down between the buildings to the water. Look for the blue doors.
